Gardiner Hotels

Tiny Gardiner is not even big enough to qualify as a town--it's a "census designated place" whose primary function has always been as a northern entrance to Yellowstone Park. The lodging and dining options are more limited here than in West Yellowstone and Jackson Hole, mostly chain hotels and restaurants without much to distinguish them. In terms of convenience, comfort and atmosphere it's one step away from staying in the park itself: perfect for stashing your stuff, refueling bodies and vehicles, and warming up or cooling out after a long day in the park. Most of the hotels in town are open year round, making it popular with winter visitors who want to avoid the crush and the prices of nearby resort towns.
